Who are we?

We are a light haulage contractor based in Dudley, West Midlands. Our family business began in 1987 when my uncle, Mick Woodall, was made redundant. It was a bad time for employment, so he took the plunge and started MW Transport. Mick worked hard and built the company from the ground up until he retired in 2007. He had built a reliable, respectable, and friendly family business from nothing.

Upon his retirement, he approached me, Brian Warren, to take over and keep building the business he had dedicated twenty years to. It was a big decision, but one that I couldn't possibly turn down. I had worked as Transport Co-ordinator & Fork Lift Instructor for 18 years at a large national company in their transport sector before taking on this mammoth task.

The Transport background helped, but it was still a steep learning curve for me. Since taking over in 2007, we have built MW Transport into a business that still prides itself on reliable, respectable and friendly service to all our customers.
